Han Solo (1977 Star Wars) and Indiana Jones were both played by actor Harrison Ford. However, Kenner took advantage of the fact that Han Solo was first released as a 12 Inch action figure in the 1978-1979 Star Wars 12 Inch action figure toy line, and use the original mold to repackage an Indiana Jones version. It’s interesting to note that the only real difference between the original Han Sold 12 Inch unclothed action figure and the 1983 Indiana Jones 12 Inch naked action figure is that the Indiana Jones figure had blue eyes whereas the Han Solo figure had brown
If you’re a big Star Wars fan, then you may have recognized the similarities. One of the major drawbacks to this particular figure was the fact that Kenner did not release any other 12 inch action figures to accompany Indiana Jones. It is understandable why a 12 inch Indiana Jones action figure was released by Kenner at that time, do you to existing tooling and extreme manufacturing cost savings on adding additional merchandising products.
It is important to note that unfortunately one of the most considered disappointments of this particular action figure was the poor quality of the iconic Indiana Jones fedora hat. The hat was manufactured out of soft materials, that did not display well in reminiscence to a accurate fedora and therefore took away from the overall aesthetic of this Otherwise awesome 12” action figure.

Original Packaging
The original packaging was very similar to the 1978–1979 Kenner Star Wars 12 inch line. The packaging featured a rectangular shaped box with a clear window to display the front of the figure. An extended packaging flap was added in the shape of the rectangular box was added to display additional imagery, logos and information about the product drawing appeal to young children when displayed on store shelves. NOTE: Collectors that have the original card back offers increased value to the collectible. (MWC = Mint with card) If the card back still has a bubble in tact, that also increases the value. If the action figure is factory sealed on the original card, (MOC= Mint on card) then collectors can obtain the most value from that particular item.

How To Use This Price Guide
MLC = “Mint Loose Condition” This is when the action figure or Vehicle is in excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories, but without the packaging and original included paperwork.
MIB = “Mint in box” This is when the collectible is in excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories and original included paperwork.
MWC = “Mint with Card Back” This is when an action figure os is excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories, however included the original card back fully intact. If the original blister bubble is intact, It can bring additional value depending on the condition of the blister bubble.
MISB = “Mint in Sealed Box” This is when the Collectible is in excellent condition, and is factory sealed and was never opened or used.
MOC = “Mint on card” This Is when the action figure is in excellent condition and is factory sealed and it’s original blister bubble and was never opened or used.
COMPLETE = “Complete” This is when the collectible is 100% complete with all of its accessories. Additional paperwork included with the original package does increase the overall value but does not necessarily consider the item complete
