Desert Convoy Truck
The Adventures of Indiana Jones Action Vehicle
About This Vintage Toy
Kenner produced the Adventures of Indiana Jones Desert Convoy Truck in 1983. The vehicle was modeled after a World War 2 German Nazi military transport truck used in several action scenes in the 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark film. One of the movie’s most iconic scenes was when Indiana Jones was towed from behind, holding a rope and dragged through the desert roads. The Truck features a retractable rope that can reenact the iconic scene. The vehicle also featured the ability to open the driver-side and passenger door and remove the cargo area’s canopy. An additional feature was a movable tailgate that could be lowered to load and offload cargo during playtime. This particular vehicle is extremely rare and can be very valuable on the secondhand collectors market due to its popularity with collectors.
Included Accessories
Original Packaging
The original packaging was a rectangular box that featured live-action marketing images of the Indiana Jones Desert Convoy Truck in action displayed on the packaging. NOTE: Collectors with the original card back offer increased value to the collectible. (MWC = Mint with card) If the card back still has a bubble intact, that also increases the value. If the action figure is factory sealed on the original card (MOC= Mint on card), collectors can obtain the most value from that particular item.
