Belloq (Archaeology Outfit)
The Adventures of Indiana Jones Action Figure
About This Vintage Toy
Produced by Kenner in 1983, there were 9 total carded 3.75″ action figures, 3 playsets, and a horse action figure released in series 2. Set as Indy’s rival, Belloq searched for the Ark in the employ of Adolf Hitler. His archaeological intelligence, devious charm, and lack of morals led Belloq to foil many of Indy’s adventures; while his lust for power blinded him to his downfall. The action figure featured 7 points of articulation including the neck, shoulders, hips, and both knees. Belloq featured a paper map with archaic symbols printed on it. Collectors may find discoloration on the white clothes, blemishes and paint removal, and broken thumbs on this figure.
The action figure came with a paper map to the Ark of the Covenant. It featured archaic symbols that kids could spend hours trying to decipher. The value of the accessories alone is often worth more than the figure itself, depending on the mint condition of the action figure.
Included Accessories
Original Packaging
The original card back featured 9 human action figures, 3 playsets, and a horse action figure available to purchase. NOTE: Collectors that have the original card back offer increased value to the collectible. (MWC = Mint with card) If the card back still has a bubble intact, that also increases the value. If the action figure is factory sealed on the original card, (MOC= Mint on card) then collectors can obtain the most value from that particular item.
