About This Vintage Toy
Produced by Coleco in 1986, the Rambo “The Force Of Freedom” Battle-Action RPG action figure was the most popular toy in the original series as Rambo was the primary featured character. There were two different versions of the Rambo action figures released in series one. This particular version was modeled after the Rambo First Blood Part Two film character, as he was outfitted in the same shirtless attire and jade necklace that made the character famous in the 1985 blockbuster sequel.
The Rambo-Battle Action RPG action figure featured a large assortment of realistic weapons, including a portable, shoulder-launched rocket-propelled grenade launcher (RPG). The RPG weapon accessory featured a spring action feature to simulate a realistic launch of the rocket. The action figure also included Rambo’s signature survival knife, which could be holstered onto his combat belt accessory. With the loss of action figure accessories very common with children, Coleco successfully developed this particular accessory with a ball and string catch feature to avoid loss of the projectile.
The Rambo “The Force Of Freedom” Battle-Action RPG action figure offered 7 points of articulation with the hips, knees, shoulders, and neck. The figure was produced at six and one-half-inch tall and featured a detailed likeness to the Sylvester Stallone actor. The action figure was time-stamped 1985, Anabasis Investments N.V., made in Taiwan.

Original Packaging
The original product packaging was a two-sided card back with a blister bubble. An illustrated character action scene and logo image appeared on the front of the card back while a 12 back collect them all advertisement displayed on the back. NOTE: Collectors with the original card back offer increased value to the collectible. (MWC = Mint with card) If the card back still has a bubble intact, that also increases the value. If the action figure is factory sealed on the original card (MOC= Mint on card), collectors can obtain the most value from that particular item.

How To Use This Price Guide
MLC = “Mint Loose Condition” This is when the action figure or Vehicle is in excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories, but without the packaging and original included paperwork.
MIB = “Mint in box” This is when the collectible is in excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories and original included paperwork.
MWC = “Mint with Card Back” This is when an action figure os is excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories, however included the original card back fully intact. If the original blister bubble is intact, It can bring additional value depending on the condition of the blister bubble.
MISB = “Mint in Sealed Box” This is when the Collectible is in excellent condition, and is factory sealed and was never opened or used.
MOC = “Mint on card” This Is when the action figure is in excellent condition and is factory sealed and it’s original blister bubble and was never opened or used.
COMPLETE = “Complete” This is when the collectible is 100% complete with all of its accessories. Additional paperwork included with the original package does increase the overall value but does not necessarily consider the item complete
