Sallah

The Adventures of Indiana Jones Action Figure

About This Vintage Toy

Produced by Kenner in 1983, there were 9 total 3.75″ carded action figures. Sallah was Indy’s associate, colleague, and friend, who lived in Cairo with his family. Sallah shares the same archaeological values as Indy and had accompanied him on several journeys in the past making him the perfect ally for his current objective. As an experienced excavator and known as the best archaeology digger in Egypt, his well-connected network in the region would contribute to the success of any adventure you could dream up. With minimal articulation, the action figure featured bendable knees, hip joints, and straight arm movement, as well as a minimally rotating neck due to the fixed head wrap.

The action figure came with a torch and a removable tie-on robe. The value of the accessories alone is often worth more than the figure itself, Depending on the mint condition of the action figure.

Packaging Back

The original card back featured 9 human action figures, 3 playsets, and a horse action figure available to purchase. NOTE: Collectors that have the original card back offer increased value to the collectible. (MWC = Mint with card) If the card back still has a bubble intact, that also increases the value. If the action figure is factory sealed on the original card, (MOC= Mint on card) then collectors can obtain the most value from that particular item.
