Produced by Coleco in 1987, the Rambo “The Force Of Freedom” T.D. Jackson action figure was introduced as a new series two characters. T.D. “Touch Down” Jackson got his nickname by scoring more touchdowns and rushing yards than any other player in college football history. Although, Jackson became more famous as a disc thrower, as he broke world records and won a gold medal in the 1984 Olympic games. After his college graduation, Jackson decided to join Rambo’s “The Force Of Freedom” combat team over professional sports. His ambition to be a winner took priority over racking up the scoreboard. Jackson’s steel-belted courage and ironclad determination are two of his most valued attributes.
The T.D. Jackson action figure featured a Turbo custom-designed disc launcher to better utilize Jackson’s talents in combat. When loaded, the battle action disc launcher supported up to 3 disks and was spring activated to fire off discs in a repetitive semi-automatic fashion. With the series two release, Coleco added additional elbow articulation with all new characters not previously available and series one.
The Rambo “The Force Of Freedom” T.D. Jackson action figure offered 9 points of articulation with the hips, knees, shoulders, neck, a newly added elbow movement. The figure was produced at six and one-half-inch tall and included a Battle action disc launcher, 44 magnum revolver, and an M-16 A1 rifle with grenade launcher. The action figure was time-stamped 1985, 1986, Made in Taiwan.

Original Packaging
The original product packaging was a two-sided card back with a blister bubble. An illustrated character action scene and logo image appeared on the front of the card back while a 12 back collect them all advertisement displayed on the back. NOTE: Collectors with the original card back offer increased value to the collectible. (MWC = Mint with card) If the card back still has a bubble intact, that also increases the value. If the action figure is factory sealed on the original card (MOC= Mint on card), collectors can obtain the most value from that particular item.

How To Use This Price Guide
MLC = “Mint Loose Condition” This is when the action figure or Vehicle is in excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories, but without the packaging and original included paperwork.
MIB = “Mint in box” This is when the collectible is in excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories and original included paperwork.
MWC = “Mint with Card Back” This is when an action figure os is excellent condition, and is loose and “complete” with all original accessories, however included the original card back fully intact. If the original blister bubble is intact, It can bring additional value depending on the condition of the blister bubble.
MISB = “Mint in Sealed Box” This is when the Collectible is in excellent condition, and is factory sealed and was never opened or used.
MOC = “Mint on card” This Is when the action figure is in excellent condition and is factory sealed and it’s original blister bubble and was never opened or used.
COMPLETE = “Complete” This is when the collectible is 100% complete with all of its accessories. Additional paperwork included with the original package does increase the overall value but does not necessarily consider the item complete
